It's not unusual when I get suggestions on how to expand the Girl Of All Work line, and I love it! It's fun sitting on a plane, waiting at the doctor's office, catching up with friends and hearing the familiar refrain: "Oh my gosh! Can you make __________? The ones I use at work are so ugly."So, I'm opening it up to everyone out there. Tell me what you want to see! Just post a comment and give me your opinion. A winner will be chosen at random to receive $50 worth of Girl Of All Work stationery, to be delivered in August. Just in time for back-to-school. Uh...friends and family are unfortunately excluded, but I suppose you know where to find me for GOAW goodies anyway! Good luck everyone.

Manila envelopes with cool patterns!
ReplyDeleteStickers? Seals?
ReplyDeleteWhat about a cool measuring tape? I use that at work a lot and am stuck with something pretty unfashionable on my waist all day.
ReplyDeletevery target style sign.... How about one of those durable cd/dvd cases that house 12 or more cds in it.
ReplyDeleteFun scissors!
ReplyDeleteA set of various cool stickers that could be attached to a neat blank card to personalize for the occasion (thank you, thinking of you, sorry, congrats, brava, ... etc?
ReplyDeleteI am in desperate need of a proper pad folio since I am constantly zipping around from appointment to appointment. I am so sick of these flimsy cardboard-covered monstrosities. But on the other end of things, if you want something nice you have to pay a whole lot for something leather, which I am not a fan of as a vegetarian. An ideal padfolio would be super cute and personalized, with pen holders, a slot for my legal pad, and some sort of organization on the left for my business card and work ID and some place to keep information on my clients separate. Can such a dream be fulfilled???
ReplyDeletewould love to see a coffee or starbucks themed office set...notes, flags, stickies, folders....whatever!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge sketchbook fan myself. Please make those!
ReplyDeleteI first came across this site because I purchased the Vintage Record CD labels from a local stationer; I used the labels and sleeves for copies of my senior vocal performance recital I'm giving to friends and family who couldn't attend and designed an outer "sleeve" in the spirit of vintage 45s.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Girl of All Work carry spiral-bound dayplanners featuring the same bright, whimsical designs found on notecards, journals, and tabs. I'm starting graduate school in musicology in August and I will be dependent more than ever on my hard-copy agenda and decorated sticky notes to keep my days straight.
And also... whimsical packing tape for birthday or Christmas packages and mI first came across this site because I purchased the Vintage Record CD labels from a local stationer; I used the labels and sleeves for copies of my senior vocal performance recital I'm giving to friends and family who couldn't attend and designed an outer "sleeve" in the spirit of vintage 45s.

I love your Chef Set cook book flags. Can you make some that say things like: "Hard", "Failure", "Quick and easy", "Great for Entertaining", "Great for Gill", "Make-Ahead","Freezable", "Portable/Picnic", ect. I am looking and looking for these kind of tabs for my cookbook.
ReplyDeleteThere is a need for stylish and creative 3.75" x 6.75" standard size Agenda Refill Pages. In addition to standard calendar pages, I would like to see To Do Pages, Notes Pages and Agenda Index Tabs that match Girl of all Work's modern designs and color palette. The pages would fit all standard paper agenda book such as Kate Spade and Filofax. In 2010, Kate Spade partnered with an artist to create beautiful illustrations for the calendar refills but they did not bring the design treatment to their other refill pages, so I feel this is a good opportunity for 2012 (I assume it's too late for 2011)!
ReplyDeleteStickers and post-its (sticky notes) and also reminder notes. Fun shaped sticky notes to stick places and remind me of appointments, etc.
ReplyDeleteShipping bubble envelopes with your Girl of all Work designs...
ReplyDeleteI just joined a group hope is in the cards.....I am a new storeowner of a card shop....I would love a source for hope rubber stamps!
